CGS Polyimide 8158M backing and acrylic adhesive offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance as well as excellent electrical insulating properties. It is used in high temperature applications. Solvent resistance is required for wrapping coils, transformers, capacitors and wire harnesses.
Product Application
Polyimide tapes are widely used for electrical insulation as they have excellent dielectric strength, offering resistance to high temperatures. They are employed for thermal insulation used to shield critical components and surfaces from extreme temperatures and can be applied to protect printed circuit boards to provide a reliable barrier against moisture, dust, and other contaminants.
